Officials in Toronto are warning to expect a sloppy morning commute as Toronto got dumped with snow overnight. The snowfall last night was far less than the storm that hit the city two weeks ago. However, the fresh snow is landing on large frozen puddles and icy windrows, alike.

There have been no reports of schools shutting down due to the weather, the Toronto District School Board confirmed buses are running. The board did warn that potential delays may arise due to the weather. Ontario Provincial Police already reported one vehicle spinning out on Highway 401, near Highway 427.

Environment Canada also released a warning for drivers that there could be hazardous conditions. The rest of today is forecasted to be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of flurries in the late morning and early afternoon. In the afternoon you can expect to see blowing snow and the temperature will hover around -3 C. The snow is predicted to end around midnight and will drop 4-8 centimetres more.
