The Ontario Health site was updated last night and explained the three-day rollout is to make sure the is a “smooth user experience”.

As of 6 a.m. today, anyone fully vaccinated and born within the first four months of the year will be able to download their QR code. On October 16, anyone born from May to August and fully vaccinated will have access, and on October 17, fully vaccinated individuals born from September to December can get it.

According to health officials, close to 83.2 per cent of people in Ontario who are eligible to be vaccinated have had two doses. Premier Doug Ford and Health Minister Christine Sinclair will host a news conference at 11 a.m. The conference will explain the details about the QR code system.
