An Ontarian who bought a winning lottery ticket last year is yet to claim the money and it is about to expire. If you regularly buy lottery tickets, you might want to check your pockets and rummage through your car or sofa cushions. The winning Lotto 6/49 Encore ticket is worth $100,000 and it might go unclaimed.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said that the ticket was purchased on the July 28, 2021 draw. Players have exactly one year from the draw date to claim their prize, which means the winner of this ticket has less than two weeks to claim it.

The winning numbers are 8843253 and the ticket must match those Encore numbers in order to collect the prize. OLG also said a ticket worth $10,000 from the July 31, 2021 draw will expire soon . That ticket was sold in King city.
