    Home buyers from larger urban centres in Ontario are turning their attention to single family homes in exurban and rural communities. 

    House prices in southwestern Ontario are on the rise as a result. 

    Towns like St. Marys, Mitchell, Mount Brydges, and Plympton-Wyoming are especially affected by the keen urban home buyer. 

    While home prices are not on par with communities like Toronto or Kitchener-Waterloo, residents say they won’t be surprised if they reach those highs soon.
