Registration for fall recreation programming opens this week for the City of Toronto. Starting September 25 and 28, residents can register for fall recreation programs and December holiday programs. There will be weekly group classes and workshops for all ages, including arts, fitness, skating, swimming, and virtual activities.

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, September 25 for Etobicoke York and Scarborough. On Tuesday, September 28, registration will be available for North York, Toronto, and East York residents. You can register online or by phone at 416-396-7378 or go in person to one of the five community centres across the city offering registration.

This is the first time the city has had regular recreation programming since Mark 2020. Mayor John Tory told CP24 this morning that “There’s about 88,000 spaces available for all usual programs, swimming, skating, and all kinds of recreation programs. They have neem modified to some extent to  make sure they’re safe from a health standpoint,”
