NFL’s superstar quarterback Tom Brady was retired for a short 40 days before he changed his mind to return for a 23rd NFL season. On Sunday he said he would return to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With seven Super Bowl championships, he announced his decision on Twitter and Instagram, saying he has “unfinished business.”

In the post, Brady wrote “these past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands,… That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 32nd season in Tampa.”

Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title in the 2020 season. Last season they were the NFC South championship. He won his other six Super Bowl titles with coach Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. Brady is 44-years-old and led the NFL in yards passing, touchdowns, completions, and attempts in 2021.
