Travel delays have become a topic of discussion in recent months at Canada’s busiest airport. However, Pearson Airport appears to be turning a corner; the Greater Toronto Airport Authority held a news conference on Friday.

GTAA President and CEO Deborah Flint said “we are indeed far from the finish line, but actions of GTAA, the federal government, the agencies, the airlines, and many other partners working concertedly together are indeed having a positive impact.”

Flint explained the airport has seen considerable improvements over the recent weeks. The improvements are being seen specifically in metrics related to security wait times, flight delays, cancellations, and baggage delivery.
