According to Environment Canada, humidex values could reach up to 43C in Toronto On Wednesday. The forecast is predicting daytime high temperatures of 31 to 33 C and humidex values of 42 to 43. The federal weather agency released a special weather statement for the city of Toronto.

Overnight low temperatures on Wednesday are expected to be 21 to 23 C and will provide little relief from the heat. There is no heat warning issued for Toronto as the heat is supposed to die down on Thursday. Heat warnings require hot and humid conditions to last for two days.

Air quality can worsen due to the hot and humid air and the quality of air can reach the high risk category. The weather agency recommends drinking plenty of water before you feel thirty and stay in a cool place. Check on older family, friends and neighbours to make sure they are cool and drinking water.
