Researchers say the second wave of coronavirus could hit Ontario by mid-October

According to scientists and doctors in Toronto, the province will see its second wave peak by mid to late October.

New coronavirus cases could exceed 1,000 per day if stricter public health measures are not put into place. 

Toronto Infectious Disease Expert Dr. Isaac Bogoch expected the rise in new cases in the fall and winter, but it was surprising to see how fast those cases went up. 

New daily cases are almost reaching 500, but that number will double by the middle of October unless we crack down now.
