Toronto home sales hit a new record high in September

The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board announced that 42.3 per cent more sales closed last month than in September 2019. 

In September, 11,083 existing homes sold at an average price of $960,772. 

While the condo market slowed down, 14 per cent of the year-over-year price jump was led by low-rise housing.

Lisa Patel, board president, says that extremely low borrowing costs added to the record-breaking sales number.
