The federal government is being asked to help children in remote parts of Canada now that back to school season has officially started. On Thursday, the deputy grand chief of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation said that children starting school soon in those communities are facing difficulties due to not having internet access.
Derek Fox from Thunder Bay, Ont. said: “They, like many of us, are struggling with mental health and just excited to get back to school, get back to seeing their friends.”
