    Amid a spike in COVID-19 cases in Ontario, Premier Doug Ford’s cabinet is considering reducing the number of people allowed in social gatherings in 3 regions of the province. 

    The new limit has yet to be announced, but the province is looking to reduce the size of private and outdoor gatherings in Toronto, Peel, and Ottawa.

    On Tuesday, Ford said that some areas of the province would see additional restrictions in the next couple of days.
