As homebuyers came out of the coronavirus lockdowns in July, Canadian home sales hit an all-time record. Canada’s economy is coming out strong from one of the lowest downturns since the Great Depression.
Shaun Cathcart, CREA’s senior economist, said: “What a difference three months makes, from some of the lowest housing numbers ever back in April to the multiple monthly records logged in July.”
