Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, alongside Ontario Premier Doug Ford, will announce a deal that makes sure Canada will never have to rely on unreliable foreign suppliers for personal protective equipment. 3M will increase capacity at its Brockville, Ontario facility, producing 100 million medical-grade N95 masks per year.
$23.3 million will be given by the Federal and Ontario governments, to help increase productivity at the plant.
