Social media platforms are increasing restrictions on Election Day, including posts coming from the presidential candidates.
Twitter announced that they will not let the candidates declare victory for themselves, as an explicit outcome won’t be reached with the initial vote tabulations.
Twitter will require any tweet declaring victory for themselves to quote state election officials or a projection for two news outlets.
