Health Officials Convert Quality Inn Into Medical Center

To address the region’s hospital bed shortage, the health authorities in Western Quebec have taken creative steps by converting a Quality Inn Hotel into a facility for people with COVID-19.

Suzanne Denis, who works with seniors for CISSSO, said, “We have nurses, nurses’ aides, we have doctors that come in and work with our patients. We also have personal assistants.”
