On Thursday, Ontario reported more than 2,400 new cases of COVID-19, which is the highest number recorded in a single day since the beginning of the pandemic.
2,432 new cases were reported, marking a third straight day in a row in which the province logs more than 2,000 cases of the virus.
The report also reveals that the seven day average of cases reported in Ontario has crossed the 2,000 marks for the first time.
