    Moderna Announces New Shipping Requirements for its Vaccine

    Biotech firm Moderna announced that its COVID-19 vaccine can now be shipped without the need to be frozen.

    The vaccine is close to being approved for use in Canada and the United States as early as today. 

    So far, the vaccine had to remain frozen at all times to at least -20 C until right before use, but now the company says it can safely be transported in a refrigerator between 2 C and 8 C.
