    Toronto Real Estate Board Announces Home Prices Surged in 2020

    According to the Toronto Real Estate Board, the average price of home sales last year hit a new record as the sales number went up 8.4 per cent.

    In 2020, the average selling price in the Greater Toronto Area was $929,699, which went up 13.5 per cent from the average price of $819,279 in 2019.

    A total of 95,151 homes were sold in the GTA in 2020, up from 87,751 in 2019.
