Ontario has just revealed the top 10 baby names for boys and girls in 2020. This time there are three new additions being welcomed to this year’s list. For the 11th straight year, Olivia has been the top baby girl name in Ontario. For boys the top baby name for the second consecutive year is Noah.
In second for boys is Liam which is close behind Noah, according to the Ontario government. The second most popular name for baby girls in 2020 was Charlotte. The newcomers to the top 10 list of popular baby names are Isla, Theodore, and Leo.
The exact order for the top 10 names for girls in 2020 was Olivia, Charlotte, Emma, Amelia, Sophia, Ava, Isla, Chloe, Evelyn, and Mia. For the boys, in order, it’s Noah, Liam, Benjamin, Oliver, Jack, Lucas, Theodore, William, Ethan, and Leo. Parents are told to register their baby’s name within 30 days of the child’s birth.
