Starting Feb. 28th, Vaccinated travelers who are entering Canada will no longer need a COVID-19 test. Instead of taking a molecular test, vaccinated travelers will be able to opt for a potentially cheaper and easier to access rapid test.
Many travellers will be pleased to learn the news as March break approaches. Tourism and airline associations still feel the government needs to do more to make travel easier for fully vaccinated people.
Travellers who get rapid tests will need to have the tests managed by a laboratory, federal Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos announced on Tuesday.
