NASA announced on Wednesday, the 53rd anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, that it’s shooting for late August to launch its giant moon rocket. The rocket is scheduled to roll out to the launch pad on August 18.

The flight will be more than a month-long and will have three mannequins on board. There will be no astronauts for this test flight. There are also two other launch dates planned in September. The space agency named this new lunar program Artemis after Apollo’s twin sister in Greek mythology.

The rocket is a 30-storey Space Launch System Rocket and attached is the Orion capsule. It is currently in the hangar at Kennedy Space Center where it was undergoing some repairs. The repairs included fuel leaks and other technical trouble initiated during NASA’s repeated launch rehearsals at the pad.
