The OLG said a jackpot of $70-million is up for grabs, along with more than 40 available $1 million Maxmillions prizes. OLG spokesperson Tony Bitoni said “when it’s not won, those Maxmillions keep rolling and keep growing as well too. So, tonight’s draw we’re estimated at 46 Maxmillions in addition to that $70-million jackpot,”

Customers can but tickets online at OLG.ca or at authorized retailers until 10:30 p.m. for the draw tonight. Tickets are $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays. Bitoni explained that proceeds made from ticket sales go to the government and benefit Ontarians.

According to OLG, since it launched in 2009, Ontario Lotto Max players have won over $6.9 billion, including 91 jackpots and 752 Maxmillions. Last week, the winner of the April 19 draw picked up their check. Leah Murdoch-Gerics picked up a check for $60 million after purchasing the $5 “quick pick” ticket on OLG.ca.
