Richmond Hill company led the way with a fast, low cost, and user friendly device to detect Covid-19 infection.
Laipac disclosed that the test is scheduled to come out in September. It will be able to recognize the proteins of the new coronavirus from a simple nasal swab sample in just under 5 minutes, with a 95 percent accuracy.
On July 8, Diego Lai, cofounder and CEO of Laipac Technology, “It will be the start of something big, we have a lot of faith in this and hope it will become something that would help a lot of people.”
