Statistics Canada is set to release its international merchandise trade and services figures for December on Tuesday. In November, Canada posted a merchandise trade surplus of $3.1 billion despite the trade disruptions caused by flooding and landslides in B.C. Cenovus Energy Inc. will be displaying its fourth-quarter and full-year results on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Saputo Inc. will release its third-quarter financial results. The pandemic has caused the company to deal with labour shortages and supply chain turmoil.
