    6 Oilsands Sites Declare COVID-19 Breakout

    Worksites in the Province’s oilsands sites are dealing with several outbreaks, as Alberta sees a rise in COVID-19 cases. 

    There are 6 active outbreaks at oilsands sites and 10 active cases that are connected to those outbreaks. 

    According to Alberta Health, since the pandemic started, there have been 258 cases of COVID-19 linked to oilsands work sites in Wood Buffalo.
