    Ontario Reports 987 New Cases of COVID-19 and 16 Deaths

    Ontario reported its highest single-day death toll in months, with 16 deaths and a total of 987 new cases of COVID-19.

    The rolling seven day average of new COVID-19 cases has gone down from the record 1,050 previously reported.

    Today, 16 COVID related deaths were confirmed, which is the highest number confirmed in the last 24 hours.
