The spending limits for extracting gas and oil is likely to drop by $7 billion from last year; an estimated 30% says ATB Financial.
The provincial Crown corporation said on Wednesday; this would be the lowest spending since 2006. They also said spending by the oil and gas extraction sector would be 58% lower than average from the last 10-years.
