    Alberta Plans to Give COVID-19 Vaccines to Health Workers

    Tyler Shandro, Health Minister, says that Alberta will begin releasing the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine next week and prioritize doctors and nurses in the front lines. 

    According to Shandro, the plan is to give the first doses of the vaccine to health workers next Wednesday.

    Shandro said, “To protect those caring for those vulnerable, the first 3,900 doses will go to ICU doctors and nurses, respiratory therapists and long-term care workers throughout the province.”
