    On Monday, for the fourth time this year, Amazon.com Inc. announced that it would be hiring 100,000 more workers to keep with the demands that went up during the coronavirus pandemic.

    The positions available will be full-time and part-time work in their 100 new warehouse and operations sites opening this month in the U.S. and Canada. 

    Alicia Boler Davis, Amazon’s vice president of global customer fulfillment, said they are also rolling out automation at its newest buildings. 

    “We will continue to deploy technology where appropriate, starting from a safety perspective and where we can improve our overall operation,” Boler Davis said.
