    AstraZeneca says COVID-19 Vaccine is 90 Per Cent Effective

    On Monday, pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca said that trials showed its COVID-19 vaccine is 90 per cent effective.

    The announcement gives public health officials hope that they may have access to a cheaper vaccine than other companies producing the vaccine. 

    The trial results are based on analysis trials of a vaccine created by Oxford University and manufactured by AstraZeneca.
