The Atlanta Braves team is leading 3-1 in the best of seven World Series championships against the Houston Astros. The Braves couldn’t have picked a better moment to be on the brink of victory. The team has a pitcher who spent most of the year in the minors kept them in it and a slugger who came in a flurry of trades won it for them.
If the Braves are able to win one more game, this will be their first Series title in 26 years. The Braves won the game on Saturday night with help of Dansby Swanson and pinch-hitter Jorge Soler hit back-to-back home runs in the seventh. The game finished with a score of 3-2 food the Braves and Game 5 are set for Sunday night.
The Braves have a chance to win the championship on their home field just as they did in 1995 against the Cleveland Indians. Swanson said “It’s just such a cool moment for this city,… but we’ve got one more. They’ve got a great ballclub over there and we can’t take anything for granted.”
