Around the world, strange objects that appear to look like long streaks of light are being spotted in the night sky. Many skywatchers are confused and interested but they know it’s not UFOs or aliens.
Experts believe the bright lights are from Elon Musk’s company SpaceX. His company launched several Starlink satellites into orbit which are supposed to provide internet service with high speeds and low latency.
These satellites orbit low to the Earth, which would make them even brighter than stars that are visible to the eye. They are so bright even during twilight hours or in urban areas with light pollution, the satellites are still visible. Even a Winnepeg resident, Rachel Glufka witnessed the streak of light just before sunrise outside her house.
