    Canada’s Rent Subsidy Program Available for Hard Hit Businesses

    On Monday, businesses that have been affected by the pandemic will be able to start applying for the new commercial rent relief program.

    The Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy replaces a program that was released earlier in the year that relied on landlords to apply for assistance.

    The new commercial rent relief program covers 65 per cent of rent or commercial mortgage interest.
