    On Wednesday, Public Safety Minister Bill Blair said that Canada’s travel restrictions might soon be adjusted, as they try to find a process to allow some exemptions on a case by case basis.

    “We want to make sure that there is a very careful process in place where people can apply for those exemptions, that [way] they can be properly evaluated, not in a few minutes of conversation at the border but prior to that, so that we can show compassion and, at the same time, maintain the integrity of the border.” Said Blair. 

    Many people have urged the government to refine its policy, as they argue that the current rules are inflexible and have caused them unnecessary personal distress.
