Millions of Canadians working from home might be eligible for a tax deduction as the Canada Revenue Agency simplifies some rules.
Due to the pandemic, Canadians who worked from home more than 50 per cent of the time for a consecutive four weeks in 2020 will now be eligible for a deduction under the new rules.
Employees who decide to make the simplified deduction will claim $2 for each day working from home, up to a maximum of $400.
