    For the first time in nearly a decade, greenhouse gas emissions rose during the first year the Ford government was in control. 

    According to a new report released on Thursday, this is a sign that the province’s climate change targets are at risk.

    Sarah Buchanan, clean economy program manager for Environmental Defense, explained that the increase in emissions means that the government will have to make more cutbacks than promised to hit its targets.
