Charles Leclerc was back with a smile on his face after winning the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday. He kept putting on a brave face as success escaped him and tensions arose at Ferrari with five F1 races in a row without a podium spot. Leclerc had some major problems in the closing laps as his throttle was not working properly.

This challenge makes it more difficult to control his speed into turns. Leclerc’s teammate Carlos Sainz Jr., had a very different story on Monday. He had hopes of  a second place finish in Australia but ended when his engine blew. This happened just as he was catching Formula One world champion Max Verstappen.

Sainz got out of the car unharmed as flames were nearly touching his suit. He took a moment and sat on the grass to contemplate his bad luck. Sainz won last weekend at the British Grand Prix, where Leclerc dropped from 1st to 4th.
