As stage 3 starts this means cinemas can start reopening, but they are only allowed to let 50 people at a time, no matter how many screens the cinema holds. As One Ottawa cinema is preparing to open once stage 3 begins, there is another that has made a decision to keep the curtains closed, just for now.
As Stage 3 is set to start on Friday, with some omissions of the Greater Toronto Area and some other parts of south Ontario, In Ottawa and the East part of Ontario this means theaters will be reopening as long as they follow strict guidelines and safety methods.
Cinemas will be limited to just 50 guests, despite the number of screens that the cinema has.
