    Couche-Tard Explores Union With French Grocery Store Carrefour

    On Tuesday, Canadian convenience store operator Alimentation Couche-Tard said they are in talks with Europe’s biggest retailer, Carrefour SA, for a potential deal. 

    Couche-Tard said that although they are having discussions, it doesn’t guarantee that it will result in any agreement at this stage. 

    Carrefour admitted Couche-Tard’s approach for a potential combination in a separate statement.
