The Montreal Canadiens are trailing 3-0 against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Finals. They must-win Game 4 if they don’t want to get eliminated and give Tampa Bay their second Stanley Cup in a row.

The Canadiens have been the underdog’s since the start of these playoffs and they kept overcoming waves of adversity. Their 2021 year was filled with losing streaks to a COVID-19 shutdown, injuries, and an improbable playoff run. The team somehow managed to always respond when pinned firmly against the wall.

The last time the Canadiens won the cup was on a June night in 1993 and that was their 24th Stanley Cup victory. In order to win its 25th Stanley Cup Montreal must rally and win the next four games against the Lightning. A forward winger for the Habs Josh Anderson said “We’ve got nothing to lose,” as he prepares for Game 4 at 8 p.m. ET Monday. He further explained that “Everyone’s going to be ready, I can tell you that … We’re not finished yet.”
