Businessman and president of tech company in North West Territories — Lyle Fabien, wants to help communities with improving internet access by using fiber optics cables. This method will be used to assist internet connectivity by hiring outside specialists to assist with production and teach Fabians team about fabric optic cables. Doing so will provide jobs for locals and cut overall costs. The plan is set to take approximately 20 years with goals to expand to other parts of Canada while beginning production in 2020,  according to news outlets.
