    Bill Morneau has resigned as finance minister after meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to discuss disagreements over the spending plans around COVID-19. Once it was known that Morneau did not pay the $41,366 in travel expenses provided for him by the WE Charity, he has been under extreme pressure to quit.
