    After years of preparation in hopes to officially be accepted by UNESCO, and Since the global pandemic, delays were put in place. Starting July 10th, The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) officially made Nova Scotia’s cliffs of fundy a Global Geopark in hopes of attracting more tourists and boosting their local economy. Cliff fundy has a variety of areas making it a special location to visit, providing  geological and cultural aspects, according to news outlets.
