On Thursday night, the Golden State Warriors won their 4th NBA title in 8 years. Curry was named the Finals MVP for the first time in his career. The Warriors beat the Boston Celtics 103-90 to win the series 4-1.

Stephen Curry scored 34 points in the final game to claim the franchises seventh championship title. This win comes just two seasons after having the league’s worst record. Curry explained “we found a way to get it done, … It’s part of a championship pedigree, our experience. … We built this for 10-11 years. That means a lot when you get to this stage.”

For Curry, Klay Thomspn, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala, it’s their fourth championship. If the Celtics were able to win the title this year, it would have broken a tie with the Los Angeles Lakers for the most in league history.
