In an apparent bitcoin scam, fake tweets were sent out to attract followers into sending money. The bitcoin account was created on Wednesday, gaining 12.9 bitcoins since the tweets were posted, valuing around $114, 000. The bitcoin was later withdrawn from the account. The Hackers hacked into the accounts of politicians, celebrities, and major companies and sent out the tweets.

According to local news, twitter deleted the tweets and locked the accounts from continuing to post tweets until twitter and the FBI can further investigate.
