    This morning, Environment Canada warned the GTA could expect severe thunderstorms, including large hail and heavy local downpours. There was a line of severe thunderstorms moving southeast at 50 kilometres an hour. 

    The series of storms ran from Aurora to Sandhill. The impacted ares included Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, King City, Woodbridge, Wildfield, Malton, Kleinburg, Maple, Concord, Oak Ridges, Thornhill, Gormley, and Unionville.

    It is now hot and hazy across most of the GTA as the thunderstorm warning concluded.
