    The first HIV self-test has been approved in Canada, which will help people who don’t know they have the virus.

    Health Canada granted a medical license for a 1 minute, finger-prick blood test manufactured by bioLytical Laboratories. 

    The test has been endorsed by the World Health Organization to help reduce the number of people with undiagnosed HIV.
