Quebec City and Ottawa-Gatineau’s home prices went up in July, although it has been the smallest advance in 15 years. On Thursday, data showed that the housing market has slowed down during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Teranet-National Bank Composite House Price Index is a tool that tracks information collected from public land to measure changes in sales of single-family homes, showing prices were up 0.3 percent in July.
