According to the Toronto Regional Estate Board, home sales went up by 40.3 per cent, in August, in the Greater Toronto Area compared to a year ago. The real estate board reported that last year the MLS system reported 7,682 home sales, and this year it went up, reporting 10,775 home sales.
The increase came after home sales came to a near halt in the spring due to the coronavirus.
